Recently Repurchased

I love trying new things, and am always looking forward to the next exciting beauty discovery. Therefore, it's usually a pretty big compliment to a product if I decide to repurchase it when I run out. Here's a little run down of things I have liked enough to repurchase so far this month.

Moroccan Oil Treatment
A much talked, blogged and tweeted about product, Moroccan Oil has won numerous awards, and been used by pretty much everyone with hair these days (or so it feels like). I'm a true believer, and can't do without it. When my little bottle ran out in December, I held off replacing it until after Christmas and really noticed the difference. It improves the look and feel of my hair, smells amazing, and reduces drying time (in itself a real-life miracle if you have long, thick hair like me). The larger bottle comes with both the screw cap and a pump, and I like having the choice. A little goes a long way, so a whole pump may be too much for someone with shorter hair, but for me it's just right. (£31.85 at FeelUnique.com)

Maybelline Baby Lips in Pink Punch
A little confession: I did not actually run out of this. I lost it. I couldn't find it anywhere, and decided I really missed it, so replaced it. Of course, the next day it turned up, so now I have one for my handbag (I find this shade so convenient for work), and one for my make-up drawer. At this price, I don't mind at all.(£2.99 from Boots)

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
This is a slightly odd one. I finally caved to all the rave reviews about this concealer, and bought it a few months ago in shade 3. I liked it a lot, but felt sure it was a shade too light for me, so when the time came, replaced it with 4. Which seems too dark for me. This is the problem I always have with drugstore brands - the shade range is just abysmal. And after a few weeks more of using it, I'm no longer convinced I love the formula. We'll see. (£4.19 at Boots)

Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner
Ah, I'm back in my comfort zone. A product I actually know I love. I have always been a Bobbi fan (hello, excellent shade range), and this little gem is a product that I could not be without. The product that finally parted me from my beloved liquid liner, it is easy to apply, looks amazing on, and stays firmly put all day long. (£17.50 at Bobbi Brown)

Clinique Almost Lipstick: Black Honey
This holds a special place in my heart, as it was the first high-end lipstick I ever bought, after falling madly in love with it at a Clinique counter at the age of around 15. Ever since, I've never considered allowing a tube to run out without having a back-up in my stash. The formula is sheer, and buildable, and the colour is extremely wearable and flattering, despite its scary appearance in the tube. Furthermore, It seems to suit absolutely everybody; I know that every friend and relative that has ever tried mine on has ended up buying a tube.

Have you tried any of these products? Which products are you planning on repurchasing when you run out?

    1. Thank you! I'm totally new to all of this, and I'm having a hard time getting a design I'm happy with. Definitely not there yet, but I'm glad it isn't coming across as a total eyesore! I have used PicMonkey to crop these and adjust the brightness a little (my house is a cottage and isn't exactly filled with natural light, the windows are quite small, making photos hard work!). xx

  4. I have wanted the Moroccan Oil for the longest time! Is it really worth it? I always become skeptical when products become overhyped! xo

    1. I really think so. My hair just look shinier and better when I use it. As I said, when I ran out and didn't use it for a while, I noticed that my hair wasn't as good. Plus I love using it, because it smells amazing and reduces drying time. Maybe get the smaller bottle (I think it's £12) and see what you think? And the little bottle will last you ages! x
